Signed on loan from Tranmere for an initial month, this was extended and then made permanent. Originally snapped up by Tranmere when he was just 16-years-old while playing in attack for Newcastle United’s Youth Team, Robinson was a member of Tranmere's double winning youth team last season.
The impressive striker has looked hungry since he arrived and has proved that he has a keen eye for goal. Robinson announced his arrival at Bootham Crescent in spectacular fashion by scoring a curling top corner shot from about 30 yards out during his home debut against Crawley.
More of the same is the cry from the York corner and with Robbo’s history of goal scoring the City faithful will be full of confidence about their new messiah’s potential.
