Sean was born in Middlesbrough in 1985, and played football for his hometown (alongside fellow York team-mate Levent Yalcin) at under-13 level. He has been with City since signing as an under-15 schoolboy, and has now progressed through the junior ranks, currently featuring regularly for the reserve side.
Davies made his full football league debut in February 2004, starring in the 4-1 loss at home to Lincoln City, and went on to make 7 more appearances last season.
Sean has now turned professional with York, after serving a three-year apprenticeship at Bootham Crescent.
