Richard Cooper is a defender/midfielder who, like Scott Jones has never quite made it big at York. He has though made some excellent performances and if he is ever called upon he always gives 100% and rarely makes a fool of himself. If the opportunities come his way he is a player who is likely to take them and maybe make himself a first choice player.
