well personally I think it looks wicked although I can't see how it will make it easier to market the club. But then I'm no marketing guru.

I am far too upset to comment on "IT", will compose myself first.

I can however see the thinking, 'Italian, Ferrari like etc...'

I can't think of City in those terms though I hope they haven't been paid. Why not 'French like, Yves St Lauren with just YC (F) SC interlocked and nowt else?

I am going to kill something and cry but I will be back!

The SC bit was what I felt most let down about after assurances we had which seemed to point to the contrary.

Otherwise, it'll take a bit of getting used to, and I'm sure in time I'll grow fond of it.

But first impressions are that the old badge looks more modern and interesting!

Did I read somewhere this company have been paid a six figure sum for our rebranding?? I think a six year old could have designed that given all it needed to incorperate was black and white checks and some red. Same feelling as this season's shirt when we were told an extensive deisgn and consultation process had gone on and we got a plain red somehow ugly looking shirt

Why didn't they run a competition? It's amazing what someone with a computer can generate in 3 minutes.

My second reaction is that I am now not sure I want to see the "new" shirt unveiled.

This logo / badge is neither dynamic or adaptable. The old one IS. Maybe it's a taste thing but it honestly reminds me of a C&A brand of cardigan or Hud Talcum powder.

Who's gonna get that tattooed on their body?

exactly the response I've come to expect from some of you. You'd have said the same regardless of the design. JB must wonder why he bothers.
