It looks as if York City will have to return to searching in the loan market after Jon Parkin's sending off against Scunthorpe last Saturday and Dean Crowe's return to Division 2 club Luton Town.
York have confirmed that Crowe has returned after a dissapointing loan spell at the club.
City assistant manager Lee Nogan said "We had a look at Dean but it did not work out. We are a bit dissapointed but thats how it goes".
As for Jon Parkin his sending off against Scunny leaves him with a 4 match ban leaving him out of the team until early/mid December(longer than the mandatory 3 games) due to his sending off pre-season against SPL side Livingston.
21 year old Parkin now misses the chance to play against his former club and the big Derby game against Doncaster and the Orient & Swansea games unless a replay is needed to finish the Barnsley match.
Brass has decided not to appeal against the sending off due to no video footage been seen of the incident. |
