It has been confirmed that Richard Hope has accepted City's offer of a three-month extension to his contract. The former-Northampton defender, who had offers to join Oxford and Darlington in the summer, had been on a one-month deal since arriving at the Club just prior to the start of the campaign. Chris Brass will continue to monitor Hope's performances with a view to extending his contract to the end of the season if he continues to impress.
Hope has been an ever-present for City so far this season and scored his first goal for the Club in the 2-0 home win over Southend United. The left-sided defender is included in the squad for tomorrow's trip to Yeovil.
