Fair play to Scotland - the UEFA ranking system tries to stop the minows from spoiling the party and the Scots have done well enough to qualify a hundred times over when you consider their group. Credit where its due. |
Let's hope Italy and France qualify, in fact it's already arranged.

Social comment indeed from an alleged Ukraine fan - surely the birth place of the bung and all things corrupt?

Why?
I don't define my worth as a human being by how many York City matches I attend. You obviously do - that is your right, although some would maybe think that is a little ..................sad. |

That's right kid. Lucky loads of people died in the floods or else you would have nothing on your CV whatsoever. Me and your boss laughed our tits off at the time.

Why the hell would I want to go to Carlisle? Still, it's further than York, don't recall seeing you at Oxford either.

Earlier start than normal for Jards then.
Before any of us casts the first stone - remember DeeUU. Mental illness is nothing to be laughed at.

Fair play, Ukraine were more or less out in any case. Obviously it's a disappointment but it was always going to be a tricky place to get a result - as is Georgia!
Actually, I hope Scotland qualify now, it would cause quite a stir in either France or Italy if they missed out. Either way, I won't be going. My tickets are now deemed void.

I won the right to buy the tickets in the UEFA lottery, as I did with the World Cup last summer, but they were only valid if Ukraine qualified because they were "Team Specific Tickets". In 2006 they qualified and so I went to all the games up to the quarter-finals (Spain in Leipzig, Saudi Arabia in Hamburg, Tunisia in Berlin, Switzerland in Cologne and Italy in Hamburg). Yesterday, the last nail was placed in the coffin of their chances and so my tickets will go to someone else and I will probably now go for a holiday for a few weeks in Moscow instead.

You should get yourself over to Kiev next month first and cheer them on against the French! Will that be Sheva's last game?

Sheva's last game?!? I very much doubt it if Rebrov is still getting picked quite a few years after his prime.
I am going to Milan and Glasgow to watch a couple of Champions League games, but that's about it. If I have enough cash I might make my traditional pilgrimage to the Ukrainian Cup Final (having been to 8 out of the last 10 finals) but this season it's been brought forward because of the Euros it's not in Kiev, it's in Kharkiv which is a bit of a ballache and the capacity is only 30,000 so it means using some contacts to get tickets.
