Horrible predicament next week- The end to a fantastic grand prix season starts at 17:00 with City kicking off at 19:15. Does anyone know if the social club or anywhere near the ground will be showing the grand prix. Cannot miss either

Bollocks to the grand prix! Hamilton winning the championship is about as credible as the Pop Idol winner getting a Christmas number 1.

Well not really...he still has to drive the damn thing, even with all the on board gadgets and what have ya.

What because he was brought up to win races and has had great backing all his life? If only we were the same throughout this country in all sports (like the Yanks) then we might boost our medal tally or perhaps win at Wimbledon or similar!
I'm all for the success of fellow countrymen and would be watching if it wasn't for the City game and it being my last home game for some time

Since he was a kid he's been fast-tracked to this moment due to Ron Dennis taking him under his wing. Don't get me wrong if someone has to win it, it might aswell be an Englishman especially when the alternative is the temper tantrum throwing Spaniard, but I can't bring myself to see it as an achievement when the whole situation is manufactured.

I can't see how that would work, do you think he's cheated or the others let him win?
I do however think that the FIA have paved the way for him to win, taking points only from McClaren and not the drivers in the spying case and not penalising Hamilton for his erratic driving in the rain under the safety car. I don't doubt that had it been the unpopular Alonso that was winning the championship at the time or driving dangerously than the decision may have been different, but it was a black rookie. I think this is a fairytale that the FIA couldn't have dreamed of, it's what they want and it's what the general public wants so they've not made it difficult for him, but I still can't see how it's not credible.

As long as that f***ing c**t FOLORNso doesn't win it then I'd be happy to see Raikkonen take the glory, he had a sh*t car last season and has been unlucky this.
And it would mean we wouldn't have to hear Steve Rider gush over Lewis and his Dad. But I think he'd do it anyway. So come on Lewis!!
As for it being a 'great season'....we'll yes, it's close at the top, but the majority of races have been absolute garbage. I've watched them all too. Even Spa was rubbish. Only Canada, Germany and Japan stick in my mind.
Why the hell tracks like Hungaroring, Magny Cours and the F1 Indianapolis circuit are even allowed to exist is beyond me. Bring back gravel traps, everyone has 9 lives with these f***ing run off areas!
