I would say if someone else wants the stress of running transport, they're welcome to it Laughing

Few more details.

We're now taking a 49 seater (with toilet, dvd player etc...) with the recently re-launched York Pullman bus company.

Payment can be made on Saturday to JR members stood at the very back of the Longhurst at h/t behind the goal for the Bradford game, or in the social club before the match from 1:45pm - 3pm at the table clearly marked 'JR travel'!.

Thanks for your time, feel free to ask any questions via

Confirmed.

Bus leaves at 4pm, so around 6-6.30pm. There is a bar under the stadium, so we will be going straight to the ground.

3 places left.

I quite like the bar in the away end but they've now got an underground bar? Very impressive.

They'll be able to buy / make plenty of flags with the profit from this trip. Well done.

It's a shame that Jorvik Reds and York Minstermen have seemingly been working against each other for bookings to go to Burton. All of Frank's time and effort has been wasted, which is quite demoralising.

To be fair, such competition is good for the club in my opinion.

The Jorvik Reds are different to YMM and we are different to Harrogate who are different to the Mysterymen etc etc.

People should choose the way they wish to enjoy their matchday. I could have gone on the Travel Club today but I don't want to. It's nice to have a choice. If YMM stuff is being cancelled and time is being wasted then we need to sit down and discuss why we are not filling coaches, because it's down to us at the end of the day.

Fair play to the Jorvik Reds for getting a coachful of City fans there, because that's the most important thing - to have good away support.

Our intention was never to tread on any toes, JR members, as im sure plenty of other City fans, appreciate the efforts of Frank, as we've used YMM travel in the past, most recently Morecambe.
During pre-season we were approached by York Pullman about the possibility of running coaches to games. We decided to give Burton a try as it was early on in the season and awkward for trains. We were initially going to run a 21 seater, but it soon became apparent that we'd have enough of our own members wanting to go to justify running a 49 seater and make a little bit of profit to fund displays over the coming season.
Before the cancellation of the YMM coach we had 34 travelling.
Our intention was never to compete with YMM, as we have had good relations with them in the past.
Like I said, we fully expected just to be running a 21 seater, but the demand from our own members surprised us. At the same time we thought the YMM coach would definitely run due to the trains situation.

Not being critical of Jorvik Reds (I'm sure I did say 'well done' in my earlier post). Just thinking that it might be better if groups from the same area work closer together to ensure that they don't compete for the same customers. As you say, you have travelled with YMM before, so the two groups' coaches do appeal to the same people.
