Didn't see him play in the flesh (only on TV clips), but wasn't it Derek, if memory serves me correctly, who was the person who officially switched on City's floodlights in the 1970's which were mooted to be the tallest in England?
Vaguely recollect him being pictured in the Evening Press at BC for something like that.
Or am I thinking of someone else?
