The Double G weekender!

No Noddy, it's not a stay at the Playboy Mansion but the Greg-A-Celeb points giveaway!

When in York I'm often asked "Sir, you're making a scene, kindly leave" but before then someone almost certainly mentions this thread.

As such, any C-Listers spotted this weekend in Newcastle will earn double Gs, that's Double Gs people...

Happy Gstering!

I met Gareth Williams this morning. Ex- Forest, Barnsley, Hull, Scarbro' and current manager of Matlock Town. He recalled scoring an OG at Boothferry Park against us and scoring an equaliser at BC. He also talked about ex Yorkie, Chris Tate and said his drug taking was his biggest problem!

It must be hard for any young player when they have to leave us, (to go to Sunderland) but to go down that road is a shame.

Met 10 of the All Blacks Rugby Union team at a dinner in Chelsea on Thursday night. We did our little bit to help England for the match on Sunday by staying out on the piss with them until 3 in the morning. They paid for all the drinks as well.

I am so envious of you gster...you mean THE Whitechapel Library is hosting the next Library Olympics? What an honour that must be for them, I believe they fended off strong bids from the Bodleian and the Library of Congress in the US.

I look forward to an official announcement on what events will be in the next Library Olympics, I do so much hope to get tickets to see the team Dewey shuffle and of course the confused bar-code!

No offence meant, but why was a D list politician, from a G list town near Morpeth in attendance? Are you bidding for the bin contract?

Null points for the Christian...unless he was in a Lion's mouth (cue a Will Carling joke). Wink

Waiting in traffic on Wiggington Road to turn down past the Bumper Castle on Monday morning and in a car at the side of me crawling through traffic in the other direction is Chris Donald editor of Viz, he drives one of them big ugly Volvos, the proper old codger ones.

I wonder if G knows what he was doing in York at 7.55 on a Monday.
