Love Banks Bitter. Failing than Johns or Greene King IPA
If I drink lager it has to be from the continent. Asahi Super Dry from Japan, the many Czech Pilsners eg Budvar (the original and best Budweiser) San Miguel but the proper stuff from the Phillipines. Tried some Ukrainian Wheat Beer last week that was actually ok as well.
Shame Sainsburys took over Jacksons previously Jacksons would get in some really god and bad ranges of lager from more far flung places. |

Landlord, Deuchars, Greene King IPA, Bombadier, Guinness (but only in certain pubs, since in most places it's poorly kept/poured and tastes terrible)

Owt by Wychwood Brewery - Hobgoblin, White Witch etc.
Staropramen/Pilsner Urquell when it's hot (although it's only 1/4 the price in Czech ) but it's about the only lager I'll touch.
Black Sheep (although our local sells it and it doesn't taste right )
Heather Ale - can now get it mail order from Scotland at £24 for a 24 crate!
Owt by St Austell Brewery - especially Tribute
Orkney Brewery's RAVEN ale
"Roger and Out" by some Microbrewery pub in Sheffield (is it the Frog and Parrot?). It's the strongest draught beer in Britain at 12.5% and is served in 1/3 pint measures! I don't know if you still get a certificate if you drink a whole pint! Conveniently I used to be able to get a 1/3 pint in whilst waiting for my train connection between Nottingham and York.

I'm going to keep my eye out at various liquor stores to see if any of these make it across the pond |
