Obviously the draw was made a while back but the order of Englands fixtures were announced yesterday...

Sep 2nd 2006 Andorra (H)
Sep 6th 2006 Macedonia (A)
Oct 7th 2006 Macedonia (H)
Oct 11th 2006 Croatia (A)
Mar 24th 2007 Israel (A)
Mar 28th 2007 Andorra (A)
Jun 6th 2007 Estonia (A)
Sep 8th 2007 Israel (H)
Sep 12th 2007 Russia (H)
Oct 13th 2007 Estonia (H)
Oct 17th 2007 Russia (A)
Nov 21st 2007 Croatia (H)

A group you would expect us to get out of considering the top 2 go straight through but I can't believe the FA agreed to play Russia away on a Wednesday night in October. That, along with the Croatia games could be the most crucial in the group. A tough finish.

Would have been better if the fictures were set out for us to play Estonia and Russia away in the same week. Russia as the last away game, recipe for disaster.

Im fairly sure that they didnt agree to it. I think i read a while ago that all the FAs involved couldnt agree on a fixture list between them, so the fixtures were decided by an independent UEFA panel.

I think thats right anyway.

Each nation's FA had a second meeting to agree dates, UEFA didn't end up having to make the draw
