Just a quick recommendation of a DVD box set thats been available for a while. I've just finished watching Long Way Round with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman (filmed in 2004).
It's basically the two of them (plus support crew) going from London to New York accross The Ukraine, Mongolia, Russia etc etc travelling east (with a short aircraft trip thrown in) to the States and finally New York.
For those of you who didn't catch it on Sky or Bravo beg borrow or steal a copy it's true Boys Own stuff and not too contrived or set up for the camera.
Anyone else already seen it??
