Oh dear. This thread has been brought to my attention. Young Yorkies has plumbed the depths again, so it seems. Who moderates YY's nowadays? It seems you are:-

a/ Away from your PC and not able to see the above posts or

b/ Not carrying out your duties properly.

The insults posted on this thread are unnecessary and totally uncalled for. To put a stop to it, it is duly locked. The personal insults have been noted by myself and will be brought to the attention of other Moderators. Expect BANS to follow for certain individuals. You will be notified by PM's.

It's very rare I wade into Young Yorkies, but it's certainly been made necessary here.

For your info, I've removed the whole of this thread. Of the 40 posts in this thread very few were worth posting or reading: Dave H's original thread-starter, Daley's comment at the end, and a couple in-between.

What the hell's going wrong here? Why all the pointless bickering, the piss-taking, all the personal insults?

Yes, I know this is called "Young Yorkies", but it's not designed to be an extension of the playground. This is the "Young Yorkies" forum, not "Peurile and Infantile Abuse" forum.

A brief discussion about Red&Blue might be timely right now: certain people need to remember why Red&Blue exists, and need to think about the context of everyone's membership:

There at 4452 users registered here: one owner and 4451 guests. No-one has an automatic right to take part in discussions here.

Now, I'd have expected people to realise that the kind of bullying and abuse seen in Young Yorkies today isn't on. OK, I admit that I don't remember seeing a "no bullying" clause in the forum rules, but - ferchrissakes - this ain't a website full of 6-year-old kids. Even in Young Yorkies I'd hope to see a reasonable level of common sense and maturity.

Is that such an unreasonable thing to ask?

The stuff I've removed was entirely inappropriate for this football discussion forum. But the most disappointing thing is that I know you all know that - but some continue this style of posting anyway.
