For anyone thats interested, the option of flying down from Leeds-Bradford to Exeter International is there for a cost of only £40 for the round trip. Fly down late on Friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon.

Looks like it could be a good one. Cool

Did this last season from Newcastle to Exeter, it's certainly the best way of getting there and a lot cheaper than the train.

Exeter airport is a bit of a laugh though, it looks like something out of a Biggles film.

The flights were free (but have now gone up to £16 I think) the rest is airport charges & tax.

recently flew from durham tees valley to newquay for £22 return. (thats with all taxes etc.) so anyone that fancies a good friday night out and then travelling to exeter on the saturday could do it.

would be good to get a plane full of city going down there though!

There was about 12 City on the flight from Newcastle last season - bizarrely we reckoned that having the game on a Tuesday night was a bonus because it was cheaper!

And Rolling Eyes to you aswell. Leaving it till later, as with train times will only push the cost up, you have to take the cheap tickets while they are still on offer.

Exactly, and the chances are one of the teams may get through, that's why it's a bit risky.

To be honest the way we are playing could easily see us still in the FA Trophy, a cup that realistically, we could ease to victory in.
