I would like to book a place on the York Minstermen coach to Southport please Frank and hopefully I will need more than one place as I intend to pressgang some mates into coming along.
I suggest people start signing up for this trip as you won't be able to make it back on the train from there on a Tuesday night and road travel will be the best way to get there.

Provisionally, the coach will leave Memorial Gardens at 4:45pm - we're trying to strike a balance between not leaving so early as to make it impossible for people to get there without taking the afternoon or day off work, and not leaving it so late we get snarled up in traffic on the M62.
The fare will be £10 for York Minstermen members and £12 for non-members.
We aim to have a drink on the way back.
If you want to book a place, send me a pm. |

Game will finish at 9.30pm, give it another hour and a half getting to alehouse and drinking, 2 hour journey back to York, I would say about 1am.

Why?
The coach usually drops off at the station and there are trains to Leeds all night.
No excuses!

It's the getting back from Leeds which is a problem!!
If there is a nightrider bus then I will go, however I don't think there is.

Well we will have to see about the darts match Dave as we are heading straight out into town to carry on the drinking with a girls night out. We will also be bringing a friend to Halifax too. |

Sorry to drag the thread back to the subject of getting to City's game at Southport on August 16th
A reminder to everyone that we WILL be running a coach - the provisional departure time is 4:45pm from Memorial Gardens is cutting it a bit fine, but hopefully it will give people who can't get away from work early a chance to get to the game.
We'll be having a drink or two on the way back to celebrate/drown our sorrows.
The fare will be £10 members, £12 non-members.
Book by sending me a pm or emailing

Just a gentle reminder that it's not possible to get back from Southport by train after next Tuesday's game.
I'll be taking bookings in the Social Club during tonight's darts match.
£10 YMM members, £12 non-members.
