But we are talking about the Premiership. Is it not obvious enough to you? Do we need to point it out in every post what we are talking about. What you posted had no relevance to the discussion so it was spam and you should be banned from YY's for ever.
Seria A, now that's a sh*t league. Boring football and fixed matches, don't know how you can like that kind of football to be honest. |
-No. We WERE talking about the Premiership. As I stated in my last post, you made no direct link or notification that we were dicussing Premiership matters only. You were making the point that a football 'league' is more than just about the title race.
-If you would like me to be banned Josh, then please feel free to PM Laurence and ask him to ban me.
-Right.Serie A. I admit to liking the English Premiership better than Serie A, because it is more exciting, and there is more action. However, how anyone can call the league sh*t when players like Shevchnko, Kaka, Buffon, Adriano and Gilardino play there is beyond me. Again, you were just thinking of an excuse for making out that your country is the best at everything.

Actually Tommi Josh may have a valid point. I remember reading that Seria A had the lowest goals per game ratio and from watching a fair bit of Italian Footy even you can't deny that most teams build from the back and are very defence minded. I also find it tedious because of the amount of "simulation" / diving that goes on, I mean come on they are grown men playing a contact sport and they go down very easily.
No-one is arguing that Shev, Kaka etc are poor players but the league in general doesn't match those players' flair. Remember we have class players too, look at the likes of Henry (world player of the year go knows how many times), Rooney (world young player of the year) and others.
I say the mark of a great league is it's ability to attract the worlds best players and to retain the home grown players. For instance how many players come in from abroad with dreams of gracing the Premiership pitches?? In contrast there are not many English players abroad are there??

Don't like to be boring but I have to agree with everything you have said there!
