Looks like this could be a big day out - plenty seem to be planning a trip down south and the southern contingent seem to be rounding up unsuspecting friends for a full day's entertainment.
Talk of a 9am start in Smithfield market has been suggested so make sure your bus/plane/car gets there early. This has the makings of away day of the season. You've been warned. Don't miss out

I've got mine virtually planned.
8 o'clock leave from my house. Arrive in Leeds Station at 8.30, leave at 9. And the rest is where I end up taking us when getting lost.
It's Circle Line from KX to Aldgate and the to London Fenchurch. And then on a C2C to Grays.
Is that right, just before I end up at Gravesend or Dagenham?

Our footy team have hired a mini-bus and we have roped all the players into going so their should be about 15 of us about 6 of us support city so a good performance and we may be able to attract a few of them to attend more often.
and a win at Grays and we should have 9 points on the board

Have a hotel booked for the saturday night for a stop over in the big smoke. Itsaves checking your watch every 5 minutes to avoid missing the last train. £32 for the night with breakfast sounds like a good deal to me.

I'll be making my way from the Eden Project to Exeter to fly to Liverpool and then make my way to a birthday party in Bury, all the time thanking my lucky stars that we're only away at Grays Athletic.

Well I hope Bury is livelier than Whitefield. Popped into the New Grove Inn on Sunday, it was like a morgue.
Only £1.40 a pint though, which was acceptable.

It's because everyone knew I was in Lanzarote so there was no point leaving the house.

If it's open by then. In which case Tower Hill is nearer.
Or go via Blackfriars (on Thameslink - just don't end up at Croydon again )
