Tcherevchenko to City.
York City have further bolstered their defence by paying an undisclosed fee for the Neftchi Baku defender Eugeny Tcherevchenko.
Azerbaijani influence
The 28-year-old, who can also play in central midfield, signed a four-year deal today after the clubs agreed a fee thought to be between €5k and €10k for a player who has 2 international caps.
'Step up'
"The ambition of this club is the same as mine - to play at the very top in England," added Tcherevchenko, who was under contract with Baku until 2008. "Personally, I feel I have taken a step up coming to York." The Minstermen recently signed defensive duo James Dudgeon and Mark Hotte. |

I was just wondering is this just a load of rubbish, a rumour or is it actually true for ounce because I never know what to beleive on this forum, no offence Tommihird!
