Leeds United include two young French trialists in Tuesday's pre-season friendly against York City at Bootham Crescent.
Central defender Dominic Gorville had a runout in the second half of a friendly at Darlington a week ago and is joined in the line-up by countryman Kevin Barralon.
Simon Johnson, who topped the reserves' scoring list last term, leads the attack. Johnson, who scored twice in the 6-0 trouncing of Billingham Synthonia on Saturday, learned on Monday that he is banned for the first three first-team matches of the new season.
He was sent off for violent conduct in a pre-season game at Scarborough on 17 July.
Harpal Singh, who spent all last season on loan at Bury, is included, but the team largely comprises players who figured in the Academy line-up last season.
Team: Wilberforce, Edwards, Constable, McStay, Gorville, Winter, Woods, Singh, Barralon, Johnson, Keogh. Subs: Corr, McDaid, Tyrrell, Bowler.
