City Trio Return

Liam George, Darren Edmondson and Mitch Ward will all be available for selection against Cambridge United on Friday.

George, who hasn't started a City game since September, is close to returning to the first team squad, following shin splints. He will feature in a reserve match this evening, and according to City manager Chris Brass could be on the bench against Cambridge should he get through the game without any problems.

Edmondson and Ward however will not be risked for the reserves, which could lead to speculation that both will be in the side on Friday. Edmondson has been badly missed at right wing back over the past few weeks, and Ward's experience could be an important influence in midfield for the closing weeks of the season.
