Can anyone play a musical instrument? Or has anyone ever had unsuccessful attempts to do so? |

I tried the recorder many years back with little success. Apart from that I have stayed away from musical things.

Well....I wail in a band, and press keys sometimes when no one is looking on a keyboard-shaped instrument.

Can play Gary Jules' 'Mad World' and Coldplay's 'The Scientist' on the piano!
Also, had half a trumpet lesson with my mate once, but we got bored and went and played football instead!

Why did you try and play half a trumpet?

Played guitar since I was 5 or 6 and I've played in a few different bands in my time. |

Anyone can play the drums, I did when i was 3 with some saucepans and a wooden spoon. Apart from that and the compulsary school recorder, I've stayed away from it all.
Prefer listening myself.

Like footyfan, i attempted the recorder many years ago but it was very boring so I gave up. Was gonna take up the drums but never did.

I attempted the flute many years ago, I quit after a few lessons as the teacher said my lips were the wrong shape for it. Also i couldn't read music, and watched T.V instead of practising. |
