York City Supporters' Trust writes…
One year ago, the Trust’s Rescue Package to save York City was completed. The deal was completed at precisely 1pm on Friday 28th March 2003 whereby the Trust’s new company, York City Football Club Limited, acquired the football club business.
The historic event was the culmination of much hard work by many City supporters and provided the opportunity for the new Club Board to work towards a long term future for the Club in its community.
Many obstacles had to be overcome and, looking forward, the Club continues to face many challenges. However, with unity and commitment we can build a stronger future for Our Club.
