York City player manager Chris Brass was happy with how his team performed yesterday against torquay after switching to a new 3-4-3 formation.
Brass decided on the new fomation after signing newcastle striker Richard Offiong on a one month loan. The striker was seen as ideal for the new formation, as he fitted in well alongside player/assistant manager Lee Nogan and recent signing Andy Bell. The new formation was adopted to try and halt the minstermens slide down the divsion 3 table. Yesterdays draw leaves the minstermen in 16th place in the table.
Brass was quoted as saying: "It's something I've wanted to try all season - it's just getting the personnel in. Now we've got Richard he gives us a bit of pace, as does Andy Bell."
