According to today's YEP, Ovendale picked up his 5th booking of the season on Saturday (didn't notice it myself, anyone know why it happened?).

Therefore, Porter will start against Yeovil.

Radio chips reported he got booked agains't Oxford but BP didn't mention it on Saturday unless it was him that complained too much about them breaking and scoring whilst Dickman was down injured Question

Yes, as soon as the ball went into the back of the net he got up and raced over to the Ref Evil or Very Mad and started having a right go at him so the Ref Evil or Very Mad thought it would be nice to give him the yellow for descent.

Our discipline record is awful this season. Ovendale was (rightly) booked at Oxford for timewasting and the next match gets himself booked for dissent.

Another area which needs sorting IMO.

I agree that discipline is a problem, however bookings like Ovengloves at Oxford are worthwhile for us to get a point at a very tough game Wink

Now I understand your a woman/girl of the opposite sex and the rules are ever so confusing, but if Porter "kicks anyones ar*e" the chances are he'll be shown the red card and altough red is a pretty colour it's not a good thing to happen.......ok love Rolling Eyes

Finally porter gets to play. Even if is just one game. A chance for him to show what he can do. Good luck to him. I also think my missus went over the top in her first post on the forum.

The past two bookings for him have been for dissent but he has had a right to complain.

I think it will do Ovengloves good because he is in need of a rest for once. Just like Nogan Evil or Very Mad

Does anyone here think that Ovendale is completely s***e. He can't catch anything and has been a constant let down. I can not remember a save that he made againt scunny and i think the reason we are letting in so many goals in is that ovendale can't control his box.

well i have to agree with the almighty King Mouse, he obviously knows what he is talking about so i definitely agree. i watch the highlights on tynetees television every monday and when York concede a goal it is susually ovendale to blame. i think its because he doesnt control his box and talks likes like a mouse.

Ovendale's ban didn't count because all yellow cards got cancelled after the end of February, or something.

Was in tonight's YEP.

He will only get a ban if he reaches 10 bookings, and not 5 as first thought. So that means that now Porter wont get his game against yeovil. He will have to wait a bit longer to make his first team bow.
