Today's main news: Douglas Craig adds another honour to his OBE!
Craig nets a gong in fans' honours list
by Sports reporter
FORMER York City chairman Douglas Craig has received recognition in a New Year's Honours list with a difference.
The Football Supporters' Federation has announced its own honours list for services to football during 2002.
But the fan watchdog has also published a dishonours list for disservices to the game in which Craig is featured.
The FSF states Craig, who was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in 1981, receives his `award' for placing York City's "future in jeopardy, for personal profit".
Speaking to the Evening Press today, Mr Craig declined to comment.

The AGM of Bootham Crescent Holdings lasted only a few minutes, owing to a problem with the accounts (see the press reports below). Several members of the Friends of Bootham Crescent attended the meeting - some of us nominated as proxies by shareholders who support our campaign. Our thanks to those shareholders for giving us the chance to attend in their place. We will also attend the rescheduled AGM which will take place in the New Year, at a date to be confirmed.

Douglas Craig, left, at the (very short) Bootham Crescent Holdings AGM. We leave you to guess what he might be saying. Possibly "The advertising behind me says 'Smarties', but it's not very appropriate as our accounts have to be dismissed because of an error, leaving me no time to answer the questions of the other shareholders. I am very disappointed about this." Or possibly not . . . choose your own caption . . . (Photo: Ian)
