I was asked by some strange guy in Australia to post something on here in ref to the goings on at the races so to speak.

What an excellent day, I took my boy with me and he thoroughly enjoyed himself and has insisted he is coming again on monday for the actual races.

KIDS GET IN FREE>

We got to walk around all the different class of cars garages and spoke to loads of friendly drivers and took photos. (ask first).

To top the day was getting to meet the YORK CITY RACING TEAM. We met the drivers and the mechanics. They were extremely friendly and answered every question they could. Got to sit in the car aswell with photos to prove it. And Jo Kreamer can really drive a car for a woman

The only downsides to the day were that John was not there and I got burnt from the sun. Though I have been promised by the staff there that I will get to meet him on monday

Really looking forward to monday, can see it now beer, burgers and ciggies, and the question to John about the SC.

For the Harrogate minstermen coming down bring you own food as it is exspensive i.e. £2.50 for a hot dog and the same again for an ice-cream. Beer not too bad John Smiths = £2.40
