And I thought I would get you going!
Is this the new laid back Dee UU?
Probably because of all that relaxation on the sunny beaches.

Hey mate contrary to popular belief it's not sunny here all the time...ask anyone who came to the Sydney Olympics..it pissed it down and I sat near some Mancs who moaned and claimed that they should have got the games because Manchester was warmer and drier

I have been sitting in front of a gas fire for weeks and have needed a fleece lined gore-tex coat to go out...if that makes you feel any better...the ski slopes are open.

But just to end on a better note Yeah this IS the more laid back me especially since Ireland's excellent 2nd half performance....a pity (and I REALLY do mean it) about England, what a waste of talent...and most of it left at home???

What really got me about England's second half performance was that they seemed disjointed and UNFIT.
With the understandable exception of Beckham, how can professional footballers get tired?
Does counting all their money exhaust them?

Nah just carrying it around probably...how much would a £90,000 weekly pay packet weigh after all? Have some sympathy for the lad, his wallet probably weighs as much as Brooklyn (what a pants name too!!!).

But seriously, I don't know what game the commentators or SGE were watching but Owen was crap, Dyer was no existent (did he actually come on or did they just say he did?), Mills is a goose, Scholes didn't show up, Hargreaves would be pushed to get into the Codheads team, Arse Sol and Rio looked way out of their depth and Heskey looked like the hardest working England player....did I just dream it....or maybe I am just remembering Lincoln v Welling in 1989?

DeeUU I think you're confused!

Heskey may have worked hard but Vassel worked harder. Heskey really isn't a left-winger either. Players like Mills who had off-days aren't first choice, but I thought Hargreaves did well! Neither central defender looked out of depth either!

You are maybe correct about Vassell, although I do think (as a neutral) that Heskey doesn't get the recognition that others do, I disagree about the Central defenders though. They looked like a pair of rabbits caught in the headlights.

It is the World Cup, there should be no such thing as excuses for "non first teamers" after all England has a population approaching 60 million hence a vast choice compared with Ireland, Slovenia, Croatia etc.. If they are not good enough...then they shouldn't be there!

It's interesting though that South Korea (who played beautiful, intelligent football) had more midfielders on their bench than England have taken in total. Sorry but from what I have seen same old negative England and they'll pay a high price for their arrogance. Maybe not, cos they'll beat the rush for plane tickets home at least.

Thanks for radiant offer Any chance of an airfare?
