City Fans remember when we drew QPR in the cup some year ago, the fence in the Grosvener road was there and half of the ground was given to City the noise was unbelievable as the City in the away end tried to out perform the shippo, come on John it would not cost much to put up the fence and as you look at the away end from the shippo give us back half of the away end to the left.

Big travelling support can be given all the away end or better still, if we can muster the support from the armchair faithful, cut down the number of away fans who could come, that way the crescent for our time left there would be an intimidating place for away players with a bit of luck.

Also John to fill the ground why dont you give away tickets to the new housing estates clifton moor springs to mind lots of new residents from afar who need to be blooded to the city cause, lets get them into the ground and you could manage this by the average of the first 5 home games to ensure all the city faithfull got in.

Better still fence off the grosvener make away support all ticket so you can control how many fans are coming, and you then have approx 1,000 tickets to give away, to a fenced off area of new city fans and you can target because you know exactly where the new fans are. do this for the first 10 home games targetting different areas of york and beyond.

Follow this up with a leaflet drop to the houses that got the free tickets see what the take up is.

Fans are fickle they will not turn up with 3,000 in the ground, they will with 7 - 8,000 in the ground.

Why not get firms to sponsor a coach to away games, give the spaces to the season ticket holders working down the list, get other firms to sponsor a pensioners coach, call it naff call it what you like, but a folowing like the one at scunthorpe is one that the players can respond to.

Oh and by the way John when are you buying a striker ?
