I wonder if John Batchelor has considered selling alcohol at the Crescent next season? I know it is more difficult as we do not have concourses etc to sell alcohol from but many other clubs have managed without these. An example is Notts County.
I do not know exactly how the regulations work but I am sure it could be achieved in the car park or behind the Shippo. If everybody is allowed to congregate in the car park at half time surely there is an opportunity to sell alcohol? Behind the shippo is more difficult but there is surely a way of introducing appropriate facilities?
If Bootham Crescent could sell beer surely this would encourage people into the ground earlier rather than leaving the pubs at 2:50 and rushing down for kick off?
