BBC sport reporting the claims of a local buisnessman in Milton Keynes that the FA have granted permission for The dons to move to Milton Keynes.
Yet another kick in the teeth to the Fans.
Wonder who made that decision ?

So it's official. FA now stands for ****ing Arseholes. They're even more corrupt than Tony B. Liar, which is saying something.
Every other league club should boycott any matches played at Milton Keynes.
Everyone at the FA should reverse this decision and resign

I've posted messages of support on the Wimbledon Rivals board.
If there are any protests arranged, I am going to ensure that I turn up, as I remember a number of Wimbledon fans attempting to get to our Fans United day.

It's a fcucking OUTRAGE!! How can it be that nearly every Wimbledon supporter, most fans of other clubs and the Football League are against it but still it gets the go-ahead?
There is no soul in Football anymore. The bottom line is money and it bloody stinks.I would be interested to know if Sam Hamman(the oldest member of CCFC Soul Crew, allegedly)knew of Koppels plans when he sold the Dons?

Does anyone else reckon that it could be paving the way for the Glasgow Biggots to move "a team" to one of the older Stadia (Highbury or Anfield? would be ideal for them) and then claim they are now English teams.
I feel sorry for the Wimbedon fans because they lose either way. Boycott MK and they have lost their team, do nothing and they also lose them. Surely some club or group of fans must mount a challenge to the legality of this. How can Wimbedon be in the league when they will NOT be Wimbledon. Maybe the Conf teams might consider that?

Was in London walking thru' Soho Sq last week and ran into a few Wombles fans outside F(cuk) A(ll) House. It has to be said that they weren't optimistic - they reckon it was all sewed up and a done deal, with Koppel having significant 'friends on the inside' (inc. David Dein, I mentioned recently in relation to his attitude to 'small clubs').
It makes me want to weep and hang my head in shame. This game was built on the toil of so many people for over a hundred and fifty years, and has been sold for a few shiny pennies that will, undoubtedly, disappear down the drain as the wheels finally come off the football bandwagon.
If I were a Wimbledon fan, I'd have nothing to do with this enterprise. Painful though it is, I'd choose another small London/SE club and at least have the comfort of seeing Wimbledon MK piss itself up against the wall.
Football - one of those industries where the crooks get promoted, not arrested.

Dee UU, I think this time you've added 2 and 2 and come up with 1,000.
There's no way Rangers or Celtic would move their grounds out of Glasgow.
Firstly, they fill their stadia each week, which is something they couldn't do in Liverpool or London, where they would have to compete for fans with Everton, Liverpool, Arsenal etc.
Secondly, they couldn't rely on the degree of bigotry they enjoy in Glasgow which assures them of big attendances.
Sad, but true.

A number of Wimbledon fans did indeed come to our Fans United day.
It was they who brought the FU scarf, trailing it across London to King's Cross, from where they had to travel by coach as far as Peterborough, because the overhead lines were down due to the appalling weather that weekend.
At Peterborough they were finally able to get a train, which got them to York well after what would have been kick off time.
Undaunted they made a grand entrance into the Bootham Tavern with a couple of hundred feet of scarf, and still stumped up cash for the Save City fund.
That was one hell of a night, and an object lesson in solidarity.
It's payback time.

I think this Wimbledon thing is yet more proof of how american this country is becoming. It's a typical yank thing to move a baseball / (american) football team to another city just because they can do better elsewhere. What next, will Man U move down south because they've got loads of fans down their?

Yep - I met the Wimbledon lads at Fans Utd day, and I am gutted for them. They were telling me then that they have been stitched up and sold down the river, first by Hammam, and then Koppel.
What has happened to the days when football clubs were run by fans who weren't in it just to line their own pockets?
