now the missus ask me "Whats the score on valentines day?"
i said "not too sure, mansfield aren't a bad side, settle for a draw if we beat hull the week before!"
if looks could kill, i'd have been dead, so im approaching you young stud and studesses to list your valentines excuses...if you dont, im dead!

Tell her that Valentines Day is a complete con, promoted only by card companies and emotionally insecure women in failing relationships who need the showy displays of 'love' found on Feb 14th but at no other time of the year.
If you want to make a big song and dance then do it on a date that's special to you (anniversary) and not at the same time as everyone else. Does a crappy card and a bunch of flowers on Valentines Day mean more to her than a other shows of affection throughout the year?
And yes, I am a miserable cheapskate  |

Mansfield match is ladys day at York City again, and i am sure it said that all ladies attending this day will receive a gift, could this be the answer. Also city would benefit from the added gate receipts. So come on bring your other halves lads and lets help city along the way.?   |
