A 5-3-3 eh? Interesting formation, shame it breaks the basic rules of the game.

I almost agree, but i'd probably stick to eleven players and seen as 'Wiford' isn't a player, he'd be the one i'd take out! Laughing

That was before Saturday.
Now I'd play George instead of Crowe NOT Nogan.

Well in a 4-1-3-2 formation:

GK: Ovengloves.
DR: Edmonson
DL: Merris
DC: Brass
DC: Hope
DMC: Ward
MC: Bullock
MC: Dunning
MC: Brackstone
FC: Shaw
FC: Parkin

With both Ward and Dunning playing holding roles, this is a very similar formation to the one used by Liverpool, just substitute Ward and Dunning for Harman and Gerrard.

with my inspired new "Liam for the Left Wing" campaign I'm gonna say

Ovendale

Edmo
Smith
Hope
Merris

Brackstone
Bullock
Dunning
George

Parkin
Shaw

In a 4-4-2 stylee. Choosing 2 from 3 of Smith/Brass/Hope and Ward/Dunning/Bullock wasn't easy, but good squad rotationis recommended.

I personally think this guy MUST be in the first team, as he appears to currently be one of the only players in the squad who can actually dribble a ball, take on a man and beat him. Try naming someone else who can.....

What about Darren Dunning? I would say that he is more than capable of being able to do that!!

Well i can't say that anyone has really caught my eye in the team, as being a player who looks likely to skin a man every time.

Ok, so the wing backs occasionaly do and Darren Dunning has the ability to, but it needs to come into their games even more I think.

Remember Lee Cook, he looked as though he could walk it round anyone and defenders appeared scared of his dribbling ability. I can't say defenders look too worried when Merris or anyone else runs at them at the moment.

We need somebody who can create a goal aout of nothing, and George can do that. Dunning can too but he has too much responsibility in the midfield to run off on one or to make runs across the pitch. Especially with only 3 in midfield, and with Goerge having less pressure on his shoulders i think he'd be perfect.

hopefully shaw might start to bang the goals in.... Razz

The on-loan Sheffield Wednesday striker is, importantly, showing the awareness to get into scoring positions and a goal, with the undoubted confidence it would bring, could yet transform Shaw into the prolific striker Brass believes he can become and sorely needs.
