I think the York City Darts Team was started round about the time the footballers were relegated into the Conference, since then although both teams have toyed with the idea of better things it's never worked out, good winning runs have petered out and promising teams have failed to deliver. That is up until this season:
York City ........7 5 44
WENLOCK 'B' ..7 5 37
ACOMB 'B' .......7 5 37
TRAMWAYS .....8 3 34
BOOTH TAV. ....7 4 34
LORD NELSON. 7 3 31
HOLGATE 'B' ....7 3 28
P.O.C. .............7 3 27
SUN INN ..........7 1 16
Also worth a mention is the Acomb B team who are all City fans doing very well sitting in third spot.
The next home game is the Bootham Tavern next Monday 9th July, everyone is welcome come on down and cheer the boys (and girl) on

Don't be modest! Bold, in caps and in red looks much better. 
Let's hope we can keep that little points gap at the top until the last game.

Well done boys, sorry I let you down with a pathetic performance of arrows on Monday with a top score of 50 and an average of about 25!!!!!!

Not bad eh 
To say most of us had not played in a proper darts team until we set up the darts team a couple of years back I would say that is quite a good performance. (so far!)
Home to Bootham Tavern next Monday - they beat us earlier in season!!!!
(BTW the league is one week out of date - we lost to Lord Nelson last Monday but the 3 points we got from that match ensured we stayed at the top of the league )

Our week at the top of the league appears to have been something of a false dawn, we've been beaten 6-3 both weeks since the league table was published
