I hope they do but surely they will need to know what day it is on first before they start organising something.

By train, there's a train from Morecambe at 7:39pm which would get us back to York at around half 11 but if it goes to penalties there won't be another one until twenty past ten which would mean getting back to York about half past three- I think YMM could be a godsend, as unless they run a couple of extra coaches a seat on TnB will be like gold dust.

From yesterday's YMM What's On flyer:
Quote: |
Away in the play-offs?
If we make it to the play offs, York Minstermen will run a coach if we’re playing Morecambe or Burton. The cost will be £10 for either trip.
To book, email or phone 07956 237 270. If the game is all-ticket, we’ll only take bookings from people who have match tickets. |

Are the YMM planning a full day out or just there and back?

York Minstermen coach to Morecambe
The YMM coach will leave from the Memorial Gardens, Leeman Road at 10:00am on Monday, giving everyone the chance to spend a day at the seaside
The cost will be £10.
Depending on the result, and especially if the match finishes late due to extra time and penalties, we'll probably stop for a jar on the way back as well. Because of this, under-18s ought to be with a parent or other responsible adult.
Because the coach is likely to be packed to the rafters, we'll only take people who have match tickets.
pm me or email when you've got your match ticket to book your seat.
EDIT: with 37 bookings so far, we've provisionally booked a second coach. |

The safest way to book seats on the coach is to pm me - I'm not certain to spot it if you just post on this thread.
When you book, please supply the full names of everyone travelling, not forum names, etc - this reduces the chances of an accidental double-booking depriving someone else of a seat.
46 bookings so far, second coach on standby and looking odds-on to be needed.
Edit: With it looking like at least two coaches, can I ask as many people as possible to pay on Friday at the home leg? This will reduce the amount of cash I need to handle on Monday and hopefully speed things up for everyone.
I'll be in the car park before the game handing out flyers, so feel free to approach me with your cash. I'll also be in the Social Club afterwards. |

Well done, Frank, for continuing to organise YMM coaches despite several disappointments earlier in the season.
As you will obviously be busy collecting money and confirming bookings from an exceptional number of people on Friday, feel free to give me some flyers to hand out to free your time.
Will it be OK to pay for the trip to Morecambe at the monthly Quiz in the Social Club on Thursday night?

Yes, even though Frank is busy with other things on Thursday and may not be there, I'll happily take any cash payments for this trip. (I'll be behind the bar!!)_

Do you think they'll be any tickets left? |

Thanks - I'm hoping to make it to the quiz after all; if I do I'll be more than happy to take people's cash (or cheques, payable to York Minstermen)

We're now up to 96 bookings.
Around 16 of these are provisional, so we could do with these firming up soon, so we know whether to go for a third coach tomorrow. |

First two coaches now full - assuming all the provisional bookings are confirmed.
We have a third coach on standby, but don't really want to find ourselves with 90 people spread across three coaches.
It'll be more comfortable but it'll also be the best part of £400 down the toilet, so please book very soon if you want to go, and confirm or cancel those provisional bookings as soon as you can.
Thank you. |

107 booked, so it looks pretty well certain we'll be taking three coaches.
Keep those bookings rolling in! |
