I was hoping to take a coach to this myself, but it doesn't look like it's happening now.
The train takes hours and costs loads - is YMM (or anyone else) taking a coach?

The 0940am train to stafford has one change and gets to stafford at 12-21pm. The earliest return train is 18-26 (The latest is 19-34) and costs £42.50.
That's what i got off www.thetrainline.com anyway.
The travel club will still be cheaper though, just thopught i'd put this up if anyone was interested. |

No, I'm taking my car 'cos I don't have a bus driver's licence!
Let's hope for another good turnout - better than Burton hopefully, & a performance to be proud of on & off the pitch!

buy two tickets, a return to manchester and then manchester to stafford return. it actually works out cheaper than doing it all in one (don't ask why, bloody privatisation). i got mine for £34.40 return

Reason is the that if you do trips of under 50, 100 miles etc you get cheaper tickets by a long way. Don't know why. So sometimes it can be cheaper to buy tickets where therre are two 50 mile journeys than a 100 mile journey in one!
