Looking like they're going to get a points deduction for fielding inelligible players- namely Tevez and Macherano as, apparently they didn't have the necessary clearance. Seems to be a lot of that about, I hope that Janos Kovacs is all above board!
I spotted a piece on the Beeb yesterday here in which Deano Kiely was very complimentary about Curbs, and seemed to have a lot of affection for the man. It seems that it really is a nightmare situation at Upton Park at the moment, and the egg-headed man has given his full support to Curbishley, so you've got to wonder how long he's got left Confused

I think most of the blame has to land at the feet of the players, a lot of the squad have problems on and off the pitch. Etherington with his gambling, Reo-Coker, Harewood etc seem to have let last season's success go to their heads. Ironic that the West 'Ammm fans seem so pro-Pardew now when he was the devil himself for the first two years of his reign. I think The Hammers need a good clear out and a chance to re-build. The question is whether Kojak is happy to remain in situ while this happens. I don't think Curbishley is ruthless enough to do what is required at West Ham, Pardew seems to have got the best of the Charlton fans by playing a Curbs stype role.

So will Liverpool have the same problems with Mascherano or not?

It went from bad to worse for them today, unbelievable game. Also to add insult to injury, Tevez, who had a great game, seems to be morphing into Freddie Krueger:

Just heard Alan Brazil on Talksport say that there is a split in the dressing room between the white and black players and the PFA have sent in an ex-player to sort it out!!

Doesn't look good. The odds on them going down are now 50-1 on.

It's supposedly got something to do with Danielle Lloyd's ( Teddy Sheringham's ex) appearance on Celebrity Big Brother!

Can't one of the old pros sort it out e.g. Lee Bowyer. On second thoughts ..... perhaps not!

You can't fault Curb's commitment to the club- if you look at the photo here- even his eyes are claret and blue... scary!

this won't help matters much then. Same old hammers, always ignorant. Although I presume this would be anti-semitic rather than against black players, but still...

I think West Ham have always had unsavoury elements, even when they have ethnic minority players. But then again, which club hasn't?

But they do have a bit of a rep for it, above and beyond other clubs.. Unless they thought Paul Ince liked bananas- I believe that fans used to throw jelly babies at George Harrison because he once said he liked them in an interview, maybe it was along those lines?

Woah there! I'm not defending them, I'm just pointing out that all clubs have problems with rascist fans.

Whilst I'm in discussion with you, may I say that I've always admired your avatars- you seem to pick some extraordinarily good looking women. Your current one is a touch on the size zero side though Wink

That's 'our lass' actually. She's a size 6/8. Or size 4 in the U.S. I think. Definitely not a size zero. Wink
