Hello you York scum

I am going to London on Saturday 9th of December. Not to watch us get absolutely done over by Grays Athletic but instead to partake in a bit of London drinking. On my own. But less of that.

I was wondering if anyone, by any chance, would be able to recommend any accommodation in the Clerkenwell/Smithsfields/Farringdon area of London, which is where I will be mostly drinking. Anything will do, but must be dirt cheap, for I am a student with minimal standards.

Any help or advice, or even websites which list good cheap accommodation, would be helpful.

Thank you, god bless.

x

I believe that there are many luxurious benches along the Embankment.

There's loads around Argyle Square opposite Kings Cross - the areas much better than it used to be and they're about the cheapest in town.

Try www.laterooms.co.uk

Stayed round there with a mate when we went to the 'Milk' cup final Oxford v QPR, got some very strange looks when we knocked on the door, it turned out later they were nearly all brothels Embarassed

Any hotel around Camden - they will also offer you a woman and a free condom (apparently)

But if you are on a drinking weekend HTT don't be a wimp drink the night away and save the money you would have spent on an hotel and spend it on booze.

Alternatively - get lucky with a lady (or a boy if you are still into that) and share her bed.

Salvation Army. Failing that the Metropolitan Police do a rather tasty breakfast of stewed cabbage and sausages... so I have heard from someone I didn't know very well at all. Embarassed
