P.S. I'd just like to make it clear this article was brought to my attention by someone else, I do not make a habit of reading the Guardian. (spits on floor)

Excellent article, shows what a tedious drab, plastic piece of s***e the EPL really is. Thank god we are a long, long way away from it.

Excellent! I like this reply from a fan the following week:

"An idiot? Me? I'm a Newcastle fan, for God's sake - I'm not an idiot! I live in Lancashire and complete a 300-mile round trip for every home game. I haven't missed one since 1992. I follow Newcastle around the country and in Europe. I also subscribe to Sky Sports and 'Prem Plus'. All of which costs me over £3,000 a year. I'm not an idiot, I'm effing deluded!" - Andy Smart.

Even if you don't like the Guardian's politics, it's well worth reading for it's coverage of sport, as well as things like films, music etc. Plus which other paper would have a cartoon as excellent as the Perry Bible Fellowship (google it...)
