Shall we reserve one car parking space or two for your away support on Saturday? |

It will be a Mercedes in the first space although the second spot is really anyone's guess. Perhaps another Merc but don't hold me to that as it could as easily be a BMW.

We get quite a good away following I reckon it will be around the 400 mark maybe more.
Are they still selling Bottles of lager in the bar under the stand at the "give away" price of £5 for 36?

I'd have gone but for an admission price that makes ours look reasonable, and even the prospect of cheap cheap beer again wasn't enough to offset that, I'm afraid. |

If you boys are driving Mercs and BMW's then you should not be worrying about high admission prices and cheap beer!
Lets hope you do bring a few. I expect a good atmosphere and a good game.
How are you boys playing at the moment and who do we need to be scared of? Honestly, I won't tell the bald eagle I promise. |

Billy doesn't play; he's in deadly earnest, as I'm sure your manager knows from experience. |

Despite moaning about the price of beer and the entrance fee, your Northerners do like a bit of wit.
By the way, things are more expensive down south because its better down here. Basic supply and demand as the four of you who turn up on Saturday will see! |

Nice to see it's gone from 1/2 people to 4. The education system clearly isn't better.

I agree with you that the education system is worse up North. Mind you which is it, do you not know the difference between cars and people or are you unable to read? |

What exactly are you trying to say?
I don't care how many car parking spaces we fill up.
I doubt many people from York would drive all that way. But I am sure plenty will go on the train and coach.... |

Please don't decide to come by train! Otherwise this site will be full of posts from York fans moaning about the cost of train travel and then the cost of the bus to the stadium! |

I'll only moan if the bus takes bloody ages to get from the ground to the station after the game

there's two reasons for that:
1) we have to make our own entertainment, what with it being so grim up here
2) we're never truly happy unless we're moaning

Any away supporters coach(es) are parked immediately behind the away stand for ease of loading afterwards. The loading and departure is always supervised by the stewards of that stand - and jolly nice people we are too.

It is free parking for everyone at the ground however do not be tempted to park on the main road. The traffic wardens (a private firm employed by our council) will slap a ticket on you.

Oxford kne,can you clarify the ticket arrangements for us.
Would we be right in thinking cash isn't taken on the turnstiles and that tickets need to be purchased as the ground PRIOR to entry?
If this is so do away fans have to get them from the main ticket office or is there a seperate area for us?
Oh and we'll all be paying the £18 on the day.
Cheers
The Mysterymen.

There is a ticket office next to the away end where you can while away many an hour chatting away to our friendly stewards, provided you don't block any gangways, stand up when you should be sitting down, gesticulate furiously in the direction of the ref or sing any songs about our ground only having three sides! |

Remember stewerds are to policemen what referees are to footballers i.e. most referees are failed footballers who enjoy using their rulebook to make their mark on the world! Stewards love to tell you to sit down just so they feel important even if it makes no difference to anyone. I don't know we try to help them by allowing them to wear silly orange and yellow jackets and they still have to spoil the fun! |
