Well I've got some of his early demo stuff before he joined the Blue Oyster Cult. Does that count?

I told a lad at work who is from Gambia about Reg's email series and the lads response........ "f***ing Nigerians, they are all conmen". Shocked

Heh! I only put the bit in about Nigerians because it was well documented at the time that 99% of these emails did originate in Nigeria. "Cyprain" denied it of course, but I'm still pretty sure he was Nigerian.

I'm a huge fan of Reg. Had a clearout last night and found an old copy of GLF (December 2003). It really brought home how much I miss his neatly trimmed bush.

Loved the article with Alan Smallmarch!

Ground Farce indeed! Wink

The interview with John Champion was good too, I always thought he was a bit of a stiff but he seemed ok.

Jon's a top bloke and even did a spoof interview with me for the Fans Match DVD in the then Chairman's (Steve Beck) office.

In the same vein- in as far as a poor grasp of written English goes.. My friend ordered a shirt off E-bay from an American dealer, which she didn't receive as soon as she thought she would- she forwarded me the following interaction: (and please forgive me for the 'Mind your Language' style humour, it's just that it made me smile!)

Hello - just a quick question which I'm stupid for not asking sooner.
I bought this shirt for my boyfriend's birthday, which is on Monday.
Could you just tell me when you posted it, and if you think it'll get to
the UK in time? It's not the end of the world if it doesn't, but if it
won't I better get him something to keep him quiet in the meantime!
Best wishes
Jane

Ooh, the finest posts are hotting up now!

Come on Daley, I don't think I can wait much longer! 'Barry Parker's' last e mail was a classic.
