In all fairness, it's hard to be a worse manager than Graeme Souness.

This appointment hasn't been met with the gasps of "what the f*ck" on Tyneside as the appointment of Souness was.

M'lud, I refer the honorable gentleman to Neil Thompson, Carlton Palmer, Mark Wright and Neil Redfern. The defence rests.

I hereby call my witnesses:

50,000+ Newcastle fans,
20,000- Blackburn fans,
50,000+ Rangers fans.

I also submit, to the court, my evidance that if he had been at York, he would been more of a failure than Terry D*l*n.

One word, your honour: RELEGATION

All of my candidates have relegated clubs, the defendant's client has never relegated a club, despite coming close

M'learned friend's comment about D*l*n should be stricken from the record as this is pure speculation.

*cursing as missed D*l*n from list*

You won't find TOO many brassed-off Rangers fans, apart from concerning the manner of his departure, so 50,000+ of your witnesses are unreliable.

Retrial ! (again)

Quite a lot of them would already be near a court though, just outside having a fag waiting for their verdicts to come in.

They don't give right wing paramilitaries bail, so they'd be in their cells waiting...

Think you might be mistaking them for the unwashed, dole-claiming, terrorist-supporting types from across the City ...
