But there is a bunch of folk assembling for a nice day out in Altrincham, I know of a few who've booked a day off work and may get there around lunchtime...

Not sure whether there are any definite plans for exactly which train to get out of York...

Piccadilly Tavern is decent for booze and food, right near Piccadilly and the Gardens so good access to the tram.
