I'm more amazed at the Accy result.
And there was me thinking we had a hard game on saturday. |

A massive 1,153 turning out for a must win game.

That's only 1 more than their LOWEST of the season I believe
Unreal.
I'm loving it at the moment, but in all honesty, I really do hope they don't drop.

I just feel like I'm being stamped on week after week.
It hurts too much.
I know how you felt now two years ago.
I wasn't around for our last relegation, but it hurts.
I can fully understand you sniggering at us, I mean, we weren't exactly kind to you when you dropped.
Anyone want to buy me a drink to cheer me up? |

Try Timothy Taylors Landlord. Things will appear much better after two pints. |

I would like them to go down but it would be a shame not to have that local derby if we don't go up (which is more likely).

Not sure that's totally fair. If we were in that position I have a feeling the attendance would be about 1600.

I almost feel sorry for them but I'd like to think that their board would have had the sense to give a few hundred tikets away for the game and try and swell the ranks a bit??
I've posted as much on their board as taking a step back it would seem that with Redfearn they've got CB mark 2

Don't worry, we'll have Bury next season if we stay down

Anyone fancy clubbing together to do a Simon Garner (Blackburn striker) and sponsor a light aircraft flypast with a "Staying Down 4 Ever Love City" banner for their last home game, as Garner did for a Burnley promotion playoff game?

Relegation Redfearn and the false positions.
Great name for a band.
In all honesty, I don't want them to go down. Without mocking their attendance, lets think about the poor souls who go week in week out to put up with the crap they pay the players for. Malton on here and Seadog 365 on SS and confguide are both great fans and deserve better. Even CHITOWN, who has chosen to follow Boro when so many people from lower league towns and cities, never mind Chicago chose to follow the Man Utds and Arsenals of this world.
For the sake of people like this, I wish Boro the best of luck. They've got more 'real' fans than Crawley "LET'S GO!" or Tamworth or Canvey or FGR could ever have.
Well done to all those who chose to brave the cold weather and go tonight. You really are a credit to your club.

Went with me old man. Scarborough were woeful quite simply they deserve to go down playing like that. The only bright spot was the wonder goal by Coulson who came on as a sub.
Hard to have any sympathy with Redfearn but do feel sorry for fans like Malton and Chitown but they as well as everyone knows that you stay up on Merit not because of how many fans or lack of you may have.
Canvey brought 17 and well done to them so all things considered not a bad attendence. Also in fairness to Boro they only charge kids £2-£3 and £5 concessions but it makes little difference. |

Was Simon Garner responsible for that? I was at that match and it was one of the best things I have ever seen.

sitting at my desk elated after coulsons equalizer writing some snappy cheerful bullcrap email to my mates who are keeping me up to date with the game via email and WHAM!! Dunbavin mishandles/drops the ball and I want to throw my stapler 80mph into the wall.
yeah it makes no sense to anyone but this is tough.
Should be a good night drinking if we manage to stay up.
