Anyone see it after the Barca Chelsea game?

Quite interesting, showed what a patronising power-tripping fool David Ellery was, and probably still is. Used to despise Jeff Winter, but he seemed okay on the programme. Still think he loves the limelight though.

Felt sorry for Anders Frisk who I always regarded as a top ref. (Even had the pleasure to meet him in 2004 in Zante!)

The programme also backed up that England's 'goal' vs Portugal WAS a foul. I have always believed it was a foul, and it just shows how much the tabloid press can warp people's minds.

No way, it just showed that officials dont want England to progress in major tounaments. The replay showed their was clearly nothing wrong with the goal.

Vaguely saw it, was pretty good.

I too always thought the Campbell goal was a foul, purely on the basis that if England had conceeded that type of goal i wouldn't have been happy at all. To the point that even at the time i didn't celebrate

Keepers are over protected, true, but thats part and parcel of the game now.

The referee was signalling a push, which is what he panicked and disallowed it for. No way. If anything was wrong it was climbing, so the referee got it wrong.

Possibly, but remember; only the guy who isn't rowing has time to rock the boat.

I thought it was a bit too much for you... I hoped to show what I know about street philosophy instead!

Maybe when you're older.... or do you fancy a poker session ? Half the winners' proceeds to the Trust, I promise.

As someone who takes money off my family regularly when we meet for poker, I'm up for that.

But enough about my mugging habits on the street, eh?

Heh, haven't we discussed a poker night before for the SC? In all honestly, I'd love to come along if I were at home at the time. I'm hardly a winner, but I do love the rush of a poker game and the chasing down of an ethnic minority afterwards in the carpark. Mostly the poker game like.

I can think of no response, but I think I'd better type that in so I can another post, like.
