Growing up I graduated from comics like "Tiger" and "Warlord" to "Shoot !" and then "Match Weekly"
I can still remember the old "Topical Times" Footie annuals though - I had a few of those kicking about.

Squelchers! Did anyone else collect them? I've still got the full set somewhere (It was a big help living next door to an esso garage). |

As I remember, it was a set of 24 small, live frogs that made an interesting sound when you dropped a rock on them from above - hence the name.
My memory might be a bit hazy mind you .....
