Yes, I think that automatic promotion is certialny out of the question now, I think that will be a fight between Morecambe, Accrington and Grays.

We could possibly still gain a play-off place, but we'll certialny have to start improving our performances.

I didn't go to the game today, so I'm not going to comment, but we've failed to score in the past 5 games, which is very worrying.

If we don't beat Northwich next week, even if it is only an FA Trophy game, then I'd have serious doubts over whether we can gain a play-off spot come the end of the season.

In fairness Hereford have a very solid defence and play really good football, they have the squad to challenge just struggling to finish chances. So on paper not a terrible result, lets just see how we played.

Yeah - you don't want to attack like the Brazilians.

Solid defence like Hereford is the way to guarantee victory

And Greece winning Euro 2004, Liverpool winning the Champions League, Chelsea winning the Premiership. Brazil are the only team in the world that can attack without having to worry about the defence.

At the moment, possibly, because they're on spectacular form, but they've yet to come up against a good defensive side.

Give it a rest, you know it's boring.

Attack is the best form of defence, If you can score goals it will be harder for the opposition to get back into it.

Interesting that you mention Chelsea as one of the teams who you list as a mainly defensive team - Chelsea scored more goals away from home than anyone else in the Premier League last year and only Arsenal scored more at home than they did - doesn't sound like a very defensively minded team to me.

Also - Liverpool were very very lucky to win the European Cup - and they had to change from their defensive policy when it back-fired badly on them in the first half of the Champs League final. At 3-0 up when they went back to being defensive they only narrowly escaped with a penalty shoot-out.
