Flying out for 2 tests in Sri Lanka tomorrow. Promises to be a good series and good to get away from a shocking football season.

There'll be a few York fans in attendance...look out for the flags for those watching on TV.

If the Tamil Tigers get me, it was nice knowing you...

I'm here Tom, hopefully meet up with you and Jacko tomorrow.

Can't stop now, I can hear the Lion calling.

Especially when the Celtic f**kers decide to set the fire alarm off at 4am for a "joke".

He's definitely there, he's been texting me this morning after I enquired about the swarm of bees!

He says he has bumped into 1tom!

Aye, met Jacko the other evening in Queens.

Its a good laugh out here, plenty of Lion beer and sun. We've paid some Sri Lankan a few rupees so our white rose flag with 'YCFC' on it is literally right next to where the players walk out of the dressing room Laughing

Got back yesterday - what a trip!

Defo the best country I've been to to watch crickeet - friendly, cheap, hot, decent beer etc.

If you ever get the chance to watch England cricket play away - take it, It's the best holiday you'll ever have.

I paid 20p a day to get in at in Colombo - that makes the £14 to watch City seem a bit steep!

If Tom carries on like he did in Sri Lanka he's destined for legend status among England cricket fans - top performance.

Got back very late on Sunday night....

What can I say, an absolutely tremendous trip with numerous amusing stories. A fantastic country and a great place to go and watch cricket - if you're even vaguely interested in the sport, don't miss this tour when it next happens in 4/5 years or so.
