Now Chelski's unbeaten run has come to an end, is the title race back on?
I'm not sure, I think if Chelsea drop points in rest of November and Man U and Arsenal win all their games it could be. Obviously one victory shouldn't hurt Chelsea with charachters like Jose, Terry and Lampard but it could be their turn for a blip.
Wigan for champions anyone? |

I dunno, when Mourinhio leaves they might lose it for a few years. Might. And perhaps Lampard and Terry get serious injuries...

I expect Abramovich won't flinch at a 50 Million quid signingif needed.

Chelsea will win the title, as the other teams around them simply aren't good enough to challenge them.
Chelsea have the best manager, the best team , and obviously unlimited amounts of money.
Let's have a look at the possible challengers.......
Arsenal
When Henry leaves, I think that Arsenal will struggle to qualify for the Champions League. This season, they've already lost it, they're too inconsistent, and despite Wenger's enthusiasm for Fabregas and Flamini, they're not Premiership winners, and won't be for years to come. Wenger needs to go, as I think his Arsenal side is getting a bit predictable.
Manchester United
Fergie's past it IMO, and the squad just isn't good enough to challenge anymore. Scholes has lost virtually everything he had, Van Nistelrooy seems to have lost his faith(not literally, I'm sure he still has a religion).
Apart from those, there are no realistic challengers. Liverpool think they are godo enough, but they're not, and most people are starting to realise that. Newcastle have Graeme Souness as manager, so that's them out of the equation. Wigan can't realistically challenge with the team that they have got, not this year anyway, as they lack strength in depth. |

Why would Mourinho want to leave? Who else is their bigger to manage than Chelsea? Unless they go Bankrupt...

They can't go bankrupt, if you mean Abramovich leaving?

Yes, I can see it happening, when the trophies dry-up or he gets bored.
Probably if he ain't making a profit over lets say 10 years, he will pack up and leave.

There is a clause in place that means that he cannot let the club go bankrupt like that.

Probably he will end up managing Portugal at one stage in his career.

What a crap comment, from someone who wants to be a mod. For a start Amos was taking about players and Ranieri was already employed by Chelsea when Abramovic took over Chelsea - wasn't brought in by him.

Worded that wrong, what I meant was even with all the money if they haven't got the right manager success isn't guarenteed. Look at Mutu, Crespo etc.

Not "over" as such, but i can see chelsea just holding on to it.
It could go either way for them now, they could just go back to being the unstopable force they were 2 weeks back, or they could get shakey when teams score against them now, and not have the confidence to go at teams and turn the game round like they have been doing to teams for the past few months.
Either way it will make for a good rest of the season!! |

They're individual players that have failed - Chelsea FC have succeeded and will continue too while they have infinate money to spend.

They won't cruise to the title this season, now man.u have beaten them, everyone else will think they are beatable now, instead of just rolling over to them when chelsea scored, like whats bean happening for the past year. Teams will come out and have a go at chelsea now, instead of just coming out trying to keep the score down. Chealsea will be seen as beatable now, and every other team in the premieship will see that and take advantage.
